I studied Visual Communication and Graphic Design at California State University, Chico, earning my BA in 2000 (link).

I have produced work for a variety of clients that include UnitedHealthcare, PacifiCare, UnitedWay, Polar Latitudes, Day Runner, Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District, 50 Corridor Transportation Management Association, Sacramento Area Council of Governments, and Sanger Unified School District.

I animated, edited and helped concept the main titles of the romantic comedy feature film “Her Minor Thing”. I also co-animated 100 episodes of my original series, “Traveling Gringos”, becoming the world’s first daily animated Web series.

I recently completed work on an 80-page superhero graphic novel called “TREP” that has received positive reviews from the comic book community. I have a strong interest in teaching and created an educational how-to draw video series called "Hike Find Draw".

INTERNational Experience

I have dual citizenship (United States + Costa Rica). I have traveled extensively to 16 countries and have some abilities in Portuguese and French. I am highly proficient in Spanish, having lived in Central America for over a decade.

Starting in 2013, my wife and I designed, developed, built and sold two houses in San Carlos, Costa Rica. (We have property for sale with great views of Arenal Volcano!) You can contact me using the links at the bottom right.

Pura vida!
