With over 20 years of professional experience, I consider myself a highly capable designer with an excellent foundation in graphic design and visual communication. I am also highly proficient in traditional and digital illustration, animation, video editing, and web design. I studied Visual Communication and Graphic Design at California State University, Chico, earning my BA in 2000 (link).

I have produced work for a variety of clients that include UnitedHealthcare, PacifiCare, UnitedWay, Day Runner, Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District, 50 Corridor Transportation Management Association, Sacramento Area Council of Governments, and Sanger Unified School District.

I animated, edited and helped concept the main titles of the romantic comedy feature film “Her Minor Thing”. I also co-animated 100 episodes of my original series, “Traveling Gringos”, becoming the world’s first daily animated Web series. I recently completed work on an 80-page superhero graphic novel called “TREP” that has received positive reviews from the comic book community.

I am married to a Costa Rican and am highly proficient in Spanish (conversational and written) and am a legal resident of Costa Rica, having lived there for ten years. While there my wife and I designed, developed, built and sold two houses. I have also traveled extensively to 16 countries and have some abilities in Portuguese and French.
